Investigate ethics in social work, especially how they apply within nonprofit organizations. The course also offers a comprehensive overview of DEI principles, emphasizing their importance in fostering an inclusive culture. Through case studies analysis and a final project, you will explore strategies for promoting diversity and implementing equity measures effectively within your own organization.
Completing this course will help you be able to:
- Identify and describe important issues and challenges in non-profit management, including legal and ethical issues, accountability and performance evaluation, and the increasing involvement of the private sector.
- Apply ethical decision-making methods to a wide range of problems that non-profits may encounter.
- Explain key concepts of and strategies to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion both within your organization and within the communities served.
